The Status Bar in Internet Explorer is a useful information area and it shows the current status of a page retrieval and info regarding the URL to which the browser is currently communicating. Despite enabling the Status Bar menu item from the View menu, Internet Explorer sometimes will show an annoying behavior of missing Status Bar. In order to fix this problem follow the below given tip
How to implement this Tip?

1.



Click the start menu Run and type in Regedit and press Ok to launch the registry editor.

2. Navigate to the below given registry entry.


HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftware
MicrosoftInternet ExplorerMain



3. In the right hand pane of the registry editor look for 2 keys called Show_StatusBar and Show_URLinStatusBar If they are not there create two string keys and name them as given above. Set both of these keys value to yes.

4. Close registry editor and reboot your PC .
